Director, The Name of The Game
It was great to get some of the guys together again after what is almost 20 years for most of us. We all loved our time at TASC and football was a big part of that.
Maintaining strong links with Leeds Trinity
I’ve maintained close links with the University since graduating and have returned to campus for reunions, to be a guest speaker and for football matches.
Getting everyone back together
It was great to get some of the guys together again in 2018 after what is almost 20 years for most of us. We all loved our time at TASC and football was a big part of that. Thanks to Brett and everyone at the University for their support and warm welcome; it was noticed and much appreciated.
My career in sport
I have previously worked for The Football League Trust as Business Development Manager. In July 2015 I started my own company, The Name of The Game, which works with a number of elite sports clubs. I work with a number of sporting charities helping them to develop new partnerships and find funding to deliver their work. Most of these organisations are involved with an increasingly diverse range of activities that can be broadly summarised around the themes of sports participation, social inclusion, community cohesion, health and education.
Clients include the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation, the School of Hard Knocks, Reading FC, Derby County FC, Livingston FC, Clyde FC, Bradford City FC, Sheffield United FC , Barnsley FC, Hull City FC, Blackpool FC and Scunthorpe United FC.
I have also managed an Erasmus+ project for The Football League Trust and took on the role of CEO of The Asian Sports Foundation.
