About the programme

Leeds Trinity University, in partnership with Flutter, is hosting a three-day, in-person workshop designed to give you the tools, confidence, and insider knowledge you need to step into a tech career — even if you’re just starting out.

Leeds is one of the UK’s leading tech hubs — and it’s bursting with opportunities. Leeds Trinity University has partnered with cutting-edge tech firm Flutter to launch a new digital skills programme in West Yorkshire. The leading betting and gaming operator, which owns several well-known UK brands including Sky Betting & Gaming, Paddy Power, Betfair, tombola, and PokerStars, is supporting the establishment of a programme aimed at providing those with an interest in tech with the digital skills, tips, and insights required to create a roadmap for their careers.

Geared towards over 18s and mature students, the Digital Skills programme will offer you the opportunity to immerse yourself in both corporate and academic environments. You will benefit from the digital expertise and insights of key personnel, including direct access to IT equipment and advice on how best to build and leverage your social media presence, in addition to insider tips on how best to impress an employer directly from Flutter's talent acquisition team.

What you’ll gain:

  • Learn how to stand out to employers
  • Discover the wide variety of roles in tech — it’s not just about coding!
  • Build essential skills and boost your confidence
  • Connect with industry professionals and mentors
  • Get inspired by working inside one of the UK’s most dynamic tech companies
