In 2008, her PhD thesis was published as The Appropriation of Native American Spirituality (Continuum - now Bloomsbury Academic). She continues to research issues of indigeneity in Newfoundland as well as contemporary forms of British Druidry. She was Co-Chair of the Indigenous Religious Traditions Group at the American Academy of Religion (2009-2015) and has been the Coordinating Editor of the Journal of the British Association for the Study of Religions (JBASR) since 2012. About the lecture series
This is the University’s third series of the ‘Beyond the Dark Clouds’ lectures. This year we will be focusing on humanising the world through discussions and dialogue on some of the most crucial topics. It is designed to align against and enhance our Catholic mission and motto of Education for Hope – for all.
This series is a way of keeping our Catholic roots alive within our academic portfolio as well as contributing to debates in the public square concerning some of the most pressing ethical issues of our times. Please join us for these free lectures as we seek to try to heal a fractured world.
When and where?
Thursday 10 April. This lecture will be held online, starting at 7:00pm.
