Staff, students and business partners from Leeds Trinity University came together earlier this month (Friday 12 July) to celebrate the achievements of students on their professional work placements and in securing graduate roles at the Employability Awards.

Now in its fourth year, more than 100 people attended the awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements of Leeds Trinity students and acknowledge the University's business partners from across West Yorkshire for their continued support with student placements, mentor schemes and graduate roles.

Prior to the ceremony, nominations were submitted for a wide range of student and employer awards with a record number of nominations received this year.

With around 150 guests in attendance, including placement providers, graduate employers, academic staff, nominated students and their guests, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Ray Lloyd opened the evening. 13 awards were then presented by David Dodd, Academic Group Leader in the School of Arts and Communication at Leeds Trinity. Staff Awards ?Most Committed to Employability: Sean Harrison

95% of students at Leeds Trinity University are employed, or in further study, within six months of graduating, according to the latest release of a national employability survey (DLHE, 2017). Leeds Trinity was also recently ranked in the top 25 of all UK universities for student satisfaction, according to the Guardian University Guide 2020.
