In the survey, which gives all final year undergraduate students the opportunity to express their opinions about what they liked about their university, 80% of Leeds Trinity students said they felt part of a community of staff and students and had opportunities to work with other students as part of their course.

As well as ranking top in Yorkshire, Leeds Trinity ranked in the top 25% of all UK universities for Learning Community, and also ranked in the top quartile for Learning Opportunities (including the application of learning through professional work placements), Learning Resources (including IT facilities and the library), the Student Voice and Students’ Union.

Chelsey Grooby, President of Leeds Trinity Students’ Union, said:

"Ranking highly for the Student Voice and Students' Union is hugely important for the University, Students' Union and our Students. Our volunteers work hard with University staff to provide a cohesive feedback system in which all information is heard and acted upon. Course Reps, Committee members and part-time officers are central to this process and encourage others to feedback.

“Having recently stepped into the role as President, I'm looking forward to supporting further developments in our Course Rep system and championing inclusivity within academia during 2020-21."

Overall, the institution achieved a satisfaction score of 81%, with six subject areas achieving high levels of overall satisfaction above the sector average: Applied Psychology (91% overall satisfaction); Teacher Training (87%); Business Studies, Health Studies, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Social Policy (85%).
