The University was ranked in the top 10 across all themes in the annual survey of final year students at 130 universities in the UK, published by the Office for Students, the regulator for Higher Education in England.

The survey showed Leeds Trinity ranked joint first for learning opportunities, assessment and feedback, student voice, Students’ Union and first for mental health and wellbeing services.

The University also ranked joint second for freedom of expression, joint fourth for organisation and management, joint fifth for teaching, joint sixth for academic support and joint ninth for learning resources.*

Across the 11 Yorkshire universities Leeds Trinity ranked first or joint first across all the themes, aside from learning resources where it placed second.

Professor Charles Egbu, Vice-Chancellor of Leeds Trinity, said: “I am delighted that the latest National Student Survey outcome reflects the hard work of colleagues in ensuring our career-led and inclusive approach continues to make a real difference to our students.

“Leeds Trinity’s mission has always been to provide a transformational experience for our students, supporting them, working with them as individuals and providing them with the opportunities and tools to develop and grow.

“Delivering an outstanding and transformational student experience has always been our strength. Student experience and outcomes will always be at the heart of what we do. I’ve heard so many of our students talk about how well we treated them, supported them, gave them confidence and developed them into the person they are, and how they felt this was equally important to the academic education we provided.

“The National Student Survey is our students telling us that we are really good at what we do and we provide them with an outstanding experience. We had a response rate of 80% from our final year students to the survey so this reinforces how fantastic the results are."
