Partner students celebrate graduation

Share

Around 165 students celebrated their graduation in Manchester in November from our franchise partner Scholars School System (SSS).

The students had completed undergraduate courses in Business Management and Health and Social Care, and we were also celebrating the first graduations from our postgraduate masters courses in International Business and Health and Wellbeing.

Our Vice-Chancellor Professor Charles Egbu delivered a speech at the ceremony in which he said: “Education has the power to make positive change in the world: it can broaden minds, challenge assumptions, and inspire hope for the future. It also connects strongly with our values and belief that every individual, regardless of their background or route into education, should be supported to achieve their true potential.

“Talent is everywhere and education is a hugely important lever we can pull to create a brighter future for individuals and communities.”

Improving student outcomes remains at the heart of Leeds Trinity University’s mission and commitment to widening participation and increasing access to higher education. This has been a key driver in the establishment of subcontractual partnerships like that with SSS.

SSS and Leeds Trinity have been partners since 2019 and they deliver LTU Programmes in BA (Hons) Business Management with Foundation Year in Business, BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care with Foundation Year in Health and Care, MA International Business and MSc Health and Wellbeing.
