One University, two campuses

Leeds Trinity University first opened its doors in Horsforth in 1966. In October 2024, we expanded with the launch of our Leeds City Campus, located in the heart of Leeds city centre.

Both campuses are designed to provide easy access to everything you need for university life. While your course will be based primarily at either the Main Campus or the Leeds City Campus, you’ll benefit from the facilities, support, and opportunities available across both locations.

Your questions answered

Why choose Leeds Trinity University?

Leeds Trinity offers a personal, supportive university experience, whether students are based at our Main Campus or our Leeds City Campus.

Going to university is an investment in your future, and Leeds Trinity is one of the UK's top universities for employability.

96% of our graduates are in work or further study 15 months after graduating (Graduate Outcomes, Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) 2024).

How will Leeds Trinity prepare my child for a career?

Most of our undergraduate degrees include a built-in professional work placement, giving students the chance to gain real-world experience before they graduate.

We also offer careers support from day one, including CV advice, interview prep and networking opportunities.

It's all designed to help your child stand out in a competitive job market.

How will my child be supported?

We're proud to be known as the university where you're a name, not a number.

We offer a wide range of academic, wellbeing and financial support services.

Whether they need help adjusting to university life or support with their mental health, we're here for them throughout their time with us.

What is the accommodation like and how do they apply?

We offer a range of student accommodation on our Main Campus in Horsforth and in Leeds city centre - all with access to 24/7 security and support.

First-year students who apply by 31 August are guaranteed a place.

If your child is made an offer and accepts, they'll receive details on how to apply.

How do tuition fees and student loans work?

Eligible UK Home students can apply for a tuition fee loan from the government to cover the cost of their tuition fees. Maintenance loans are also available to help with living costs.

Repayments begin once your child is earning over £25,000 a year - and they'll repay 9% of anything they earn above that.

If there's any balance left after 40 years, it's written off.

We have lots of helpful information on our fees and finance pages. There's also a step-by-step guide on the Student Finance England website.
