The School of Business and Law is a dynamic, interdisciplinary community offering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across Business, Law, and Construction and the Built Environment.

In Law, our partnership with Hodge Jones & Allen Solicitors offers students hands-on experience through our Law Clinic, where they work directly with real clients. We also collaborate with Legal Tech Leeds, LawCare, and the Leeds Law Society, demonstrating our deep engagement with the legal sector and our dedication to enhancing student employability and professional readiness.

Construction and the Built Environment Research
Our teaching staff are world-leading researchers who have research experience and interests in a wide range of contemporary areas including sustainability, Net zero and other topical issues within the construction industry. You will be supported to enable you gain research skills for your career.
Sustainable Construction and Circular Economy
This research theme focuses on developing innovative strategies and practices that promote sustainable construction methods, emphasising the importance of resource efficiency, waste reduction, and the principles of a circular economy to create resilient built environments.
